Lofthouse cookies!

Yesterday Spencer and I went to lunch with some friends out at the Javier's on 7th street. We were saying goodbye to Heidi and Logan and Logan and it was really sad. But, since we were out that way I figured we could try to find the Lofthouse cookie outlet that's out in BDO. After much getting lost and much whining by Spencer, we found it. It is an outlet for the whole BDO, not just Lofthouse, but we only had eyes for the cookies. There was a whole wall of them! And there were tons of different kinds. They were 1.25 each or 1 if you bought 2 or more. So we bought some blue star cookies and of course the classic pink frosting ones. Can I just say heaven? When we got home Spencer and I tried one and they are delicious! Not sure if something was wrong with them or if they just don't get sold but for a dollar I'm all over that! It's really funny now because Spencer knows where in the kitchen I put them so he constantly goes over to that counter and points up and whines. And if I carry him in the kitchen he can see them and will point to them and whine. I think I've created a cookie addict in my child.

Also, he's started getting braver with walking. He will randomly let go and start walking. I think he did his longest walk yet of 10 feet this morning. And of course he loves the claps and cheers and adoration he gets when he does it.

I've taught Spencer how to say Batman. He knows enough now that if I ask "Where's Batman?" he will just point to my shirt, because I have a lot of Batman shirts. Now, I tell him to say Batman and he says Bahmah. It's pretty darn close and I think it is the coolest thing ever that before he says anything other than mom and dad, it's Batman.

Last but not least, I have an interview next week for a school nurse position. I'm trying not to get my hopes up just because I know they want experience, but considering that it's the only phone call and interview I've gotten EVER I'm still a little excited.

I love those cookies. Maybe I will have to come visit you so that I can go to the outlet.
