As all the school sales start, it's starting to make me feel a bit nostalgic. I always looked forward to the back to school sales getting a new pencil box or crayons or pencils...And of course my favorite was the new clothes and shoes. I would always want to wear my new clothes right away but would have to wait til school started, and then half the excitement the night before school was me getting really excited to wear my new stuff. We would always go to VF factory and sometimes the outlets in Park City. Once I got into middle school and high school, I would get a shirt with some funny saying on it from Rue 21. Some examples were "It's only bad if you get caught" and "Whatever look you were going for, you missed!" Some of my school pictures even have these shirts in them.
It's also making me feel strange too because for the first time in 16 years I will not be going to school this fall. I'm a little sad because all my friends are going back for their bachelor's, but I really didn't feel the need to. It's going to be weird not going to school, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with myself! I'm already getting bored and the summer isn't even over!
Thanks for letting me go back in time and spill my thoughts. I am, however, looking forward to getting a new planner! And waiting for backpacks to go on clearance so I can get them for 72 hour kits!
