I know, I know, Thanksgiving isn't even here yet! But this time of year is my favorite! I've been good and only listened to a few Christmas songs (and that was when I was making gifts so it seemed appropriate). I can't wait to go shopping with my mom, grandma, and cousins on black Friday. It's so much fun!!!
But I do miss Christmas at home. Somehow there was just a Christmasy feeling in our house. My dad decorated the whole house and my favorite are still the tin oreo boxes. There would be Christmas music playing and most likely a candle burning. I could go sit by the fireplace and get warm. It's different in your own house. I wish I could get that same feeling. This year, Spencer is going to be really into the presents I think. I want to get him a play kitchen so that he can be entertained while I cook. He loves to help me cook in the kitchen and play with the bowls and stir things.

It is different because now you have to do all the work to make it feel like that. :) It is fun to start new family traditions, right? This year will be fun with Spencer!
Thanks Britt for bringing all the old feelings back to our minds. I have loved Christmas more now-a-days because Grandma does most of the decorating since I have a terrible imagination when it comes to trees and things. But I do love to sing Christmas songs. Just remember that Anna and Laura will be here on Black Friday again, and you guys can just go out and freeze your Kazoos off all you want.

Anyways... Tin boxed oreos are the best! Especially covered in the white fudge!
