Today, I painted my toenails. Now, this may seem pretty boring and mundane to you, but to me, it was hard work. I'm still really flexible, but there is this big belly in the way. And when you try to lean forward to paint the toe, it's kinda like holding your breath. I had to take a breather and lean back between every one because I couldn't breathe. Shaving my legs has become quite the task as well, for pretty much the same reasons. I can't even imagine how hard it will be to do once I'm really big. I chose a color that I can live with until after Spencer is born because I figured that that may be the next time I am able to take the polish off and repaint (unless Jacob wants to do it...ha ha). Too bad you're not supposed to use Nair when you're pregnant, that would be a heck of a lot easier.
So why even bother shaving your legs you might ask? Well, I seem to have outgrown most of my pants. I have one that still fits really well, and another that is on its way out. The rest of the pants I own are track pants. And although they are comfortable, I don't think that it will be cool enough to wear them a lot. I do have some cute maternity capris and shorts (thanks to Kohl's clearance last year) and so I'd like to wear those as it will be getting warmer. I just have to solve the leg shaving problem...

Maybe it is time to get Jacob involved with simple tasks like that, after all, he was the one that got you in the predicament you are in, it is the least he can do for his loving wife don't you think. Of course I never had to do things like that for your Grandmother.
Scott painted my toe nails for me, when I was close to delivery. :) It was very sweet of him. As far as the leg shaving issue, I never had trouble with that. Just shave while you are standing in the shower and put you foot on the edge of the tub. However, I do remember that if I tried to shave while taking a bath, THAT was a lost cause, do to lack of breath and a belly in the way, haha! So good luck! :) Can't wait to meet Spencer! :)
:) Maybe I'll make Chris start practicing my toe nails now so when I follow suit and have a baby he'll be up-to-snuff. Glad I found your blog! (through Heidi's)
You're little one looks like he's growing so big already! I didn't know you could get such clear images of them!
