A Great "Wii-kend"

So this weekend totally rocked! I really wanted to come home a few times, but I didn't. On Friday night, I went on a date with a guy named Jacob. He's really nice and he had even taken me out to ice cream for my birthday the night before. On the date, we went to a Mexican restaurant called Javier's and the others that were with us made the people sing to me for my birthday...it was pretty embarrassing. Then just Jacob and I went to a corn maze in Syracuse that has the Weber State logo with the wildcat for the maze. It only took us an hour to get through it even though it was really hard! After that, we went to his place and watched Flyboys. That was a pretty interesting movie. Then on Saturday, I just played around at home and slept in (yay!) and I went to a few stores for food and junk. Sunday I got to go to the single's ward for the first time since I've been up to Weber. It's Jacob's ward, as well as my friend, Denver's. It was at the institute building and I really liked it. Then around eight the ward does what they call "Sunday Night Sweets". We went to this kid's house who was getting evicted at midnight that night and ate ice cream. Then Jacob and Denver convinced me to go in the "creepy" basement. The power had been going out intermittently, and it went out when we were down there. Denver thought it would be funny to grab my ankles. I knew it was him so I wasn't scared. Then we went to Jacob's place again with two other girls from the ward, Denver, and Jacob's brother, Trevor. We played the Wii, and it was so much fun! I've never played one before but it was awesome! We played bowling, and I got 147, which is better than anything I've ever gotten in real life. But yeah, that was my weekend, and it was great!
