Haunted House

So last night Denver talked me into going to this haunted house. It's actually a former mental institution, and it was really creepy. I got to go with Jake and I swear I probably hurt his hand with how hard I was squeezing. I was so freaked out!!! It was definitely worth it. In one of the rooms, the he/she werewolf kept getting in our faces and wouldn't leave Jake alone. In another room, there was a doctor who told Jake he was a girl and offered to give him boobs. He asked how big he wanted them, and after he didn't answer, he asked me. I was like, "Uh I don't think that's up to me!" Then he asked what was wrong with my hair and called me a freak. After the house, you go into a maze and there was this guy there with no face. We had a fun time with that, and we told him that he couldn't have our faces, but he could have Kurtis' in the group in front of us. He kept coming back to us and bugging us, so Jake just sat and talked to him in Spanish and the guy didn't know what to do! It was freakin hilarious. After I got back to Denver's house, I still had to go buy apples. So I went to Smith's at 11 and bought apples. Then once I got home I still had some work to do so I didn't get to sleep til about 12:30! It was totally worth it though!

So I had the coolest weekend ever! I went to the Halloween dance with a few of my friends and we had a blast. I danced like a retard...but o well! Then after the dance was over we went to Denver's house and watched a movie called "Next"..it was really weird. Then on Saturday Jake and I went to Lagoon and had a really good time. We didn't go in any of the haunted houses because the lines were over an hour long! Then when we went to leave, Jake's car wouldn't start. We finally got someone to come jump start the car and it worked (Yay!). Then we had stake conference at 7:30 the next morning for just our stake and then the big session at the Dee Events Center. It was really cool, because we got to hear President Eyring and Elder Oaks speak.

Weekend With The Guys

This weekend Weber had fall break so some of my friends and I went on a little road trip. It was Kurtis, Bryan, Denver, Chris, Jake, and me. We went down to Provo to see my friend Becca and Denver's cousin, Cassidy. We went to dinner, played Curses, and watched Transformers. Then the next day we took Chris, who is from Germany, to downtown Salt Lake. We took him on a tour of all of temple square and the surrounding area. The picture is taken from the top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. We went to Gateway for a while and went shopping. When we got home we went to Denver's house and watched Transformers in his flippin' sweet theater room. Yes, we watched Transformers twice, but it is an awesome movie!

Classic Skating

On Thursday, our ward rented the Classic Skating in Layton. It was so much fun! We got to do the Snowball thing where you hold hands when you skate around during a song. I got to do that with Jake and Bryan (both pictured here). We got pizza, cookies, and drinks. We had a good time all around!

This Saturday a bunch of my friends and I went to This is the Place park. They've turned it into a haunted village, so we went to get scared. The only really scary stuff was right at the beginning. The guy who read us the rules said that although we can't touch the props or the actors, we are encouraged to touch each other. We had tons of fun scaring each other too (Denver hiding behind the house). We also succeeded in getting kicked out of a gas station parking lot for running. Kurtis is still afraid he's going to be recognized on surveillance video. Even if he is, what are they going to do? Give us a ticket for running? Is that even a crime? As far as I know, it's not.
