This is Jacob with my cousin, Lincoln. Isn't he so cute? Jacob actually put Lincoln to sleep right after this picture was taken. I knew I picked a good one!

Here's Spencer again! He's measuring just right for his weeks and everything is looking good. He's been quite the active little guy lately too! He can kick my ribs if I'm slouching just enough...as if to say, sit up straight mom! He's also very active at the least convenient times, such as at 4 in the morning. I woke up an hour before my alarm was supposed to go off and just turned over and he flipped out! I think he wanted to jump out right then with all the kicking and moving he was doing. If I had been able to see my stomach I'm sure it would have been bouncing. Recently I've been able to see him move through my skin if I catch him moving and happen to look down. It's kinda a funky wave type thing, and it's especially weird when it's right behind my belly button! Another funny thing that happened was on Monday night I think he tried to stand up... that sure wasn't happening, but it hurt a lot and didn't get him anywhere either. I've loved being able to feel all of his activities (most of the time) and even Jacob has felt him a few times. We're sure excited for him to come...less than 3 months now! Jacob has been doing a little at a time on the nursery and it's paying off as we are just about ready to mud and tape.

This is our cute baby Spencer. He kinda looks like an alien or skeleton right now, but I think he's still cute.

This is what Spencer's room looks like so far. Jacob spent most of Saturday with the help of his grandpa and cousin building. There are only a few things left to do. I'm really excited to get to decorate and paint!

School and Babies

Well, the first week of school is officially over. All I can say is how retarded the nursing program at Weber State is. They have terrible lack of communication and do not think things out. You'd think for being one of the best programs in the state they'd be better at it... All I know is they have the whole manipulation thing down. All they have to do is say, "Well, you're going to do this whether you like it or not because if you don't we'll kick you out of the program." And we all just go along with it because we've worked long and hard to get there and no matter what we do, it's not really going to change.

Anyway, off my high horse now. We went to the doctor this week and Spencer is great! He's getting bigger and next week we get to do our target ultrasound. They'll also start doing 3D pictures as long as he cooperates. I have also started to feel him move regularly now and it's a bit odd but so cool at the same time. Jacob can't feel him through my skin yet but maybe soon. I do know that his most active times so far are 10 pm (bedtime), 6 am (wake up time), 11 am (lunch time), and 2 pm. I'm sure I'll find more times as he gets more active.

Jacob and I have been having fun these last few weeks looking at baby stuff. Jacob went to Toys R Us on Monday to get a puzzle and ended up testing out strollers. All I can say is I never thought it would be this hard to pick a stroller or swing or anything!
