This last weekend was one of the best in a long time. It started out on Thursday going up to North Fork to go camping with our friends. They each have little boys around Spencer's age so it was fun for them to get to be together.

John and Henry. John is 2 months younger than Spencer and Henry is 4 months younger. Spencer lasted in that play pen about a minute. He was happy though to throw rocks and dirt into it while the others were in it.

Spencer loved to sit on this little chair. It was just his size. Our friends had brought it for their daughter who is 3 but Spencer stole it.

Of course, a little camping wouldn't be complete without eating rocks and dirt!

These are the guys and Julie. Marc is left with John (his wife Miriam and daughter Anna are not pictured here). Then there is Chace with Henry and Julie. The guys were all friends in high school. They broke out the RISK game about 10 once the kids were asleep. The girls were all on one team against each of the boys. We did pretty well, we took out Chace completely. after he almost wiped us out. Once we did that we let him play for us because we were tired. The game went on til 2 in the morning. At one point, a raccoon came and tried to steal marshmallows. We went to bed and then Spencer decided to wake up about once an hour so we didn't get much sleep.

We were going to stay another day but it was rainy and we didn't have any firewood so we left. We went on a hike to a waterfall which was a bit scary in places especially since Jacob was carrying Spencer.

On Friday night, instead of being at camp we went to the Ogden River parkway and looked at some of the dinosaurs through the fence. We then went and got some cookies at the Lofthouse factory. We went bowling at the Junction. Spencer didnt' like it when the ball would hit the pins; it made him cry.

We then went to dinner at Sonora Grill. We had a gift card to use. It was so good! It was a bit pricey but so delicious! We finished the night off by watching a movie called "The Snow Walker".
It was a great weekend!
