I've been pondering a lot lately about my life and where it's going. I'm 22 and it seems like I've been through all of life's major steps: getting married, having a baby, graduating college, etc. What is next is what I keep asking myself. Apparently the only logical answer is to just have another kid. But I can't do it. I don't want to be that person with 3 kids under the age of 3. I don't want to be the stereotypical Mormon mom who has 7 kids under the age of 10, is primary president, does all the family's geneology, and still manages to keep a clean house. I just can't do it. At one point in my life, I thought I wanted that. But now I think I want to be different. I don't want to fit into the stereotype. Is that so bad?

Today I took my NCLEX-RN test. It is the big test that gives me my nursing license. I was really nervous but Jacob gave me an awesome blessing that helped me feel better. The minimum number of questions you can get is 75; maximum is 265. The test stops as soon as the majority of your questions are answered right or wrong. I got 75 questions, so that means that basically either I passed or I failed miserably. I should find out in 2 days, but until then, I'm going to try not to stress. Now I'm just going to party!!!

Spencer turns 1!
My handsome little guy is one today! I totally can't believe it. It seems weird that a year ago today I was giving birth to him and starting out on a crazy adventure! I sure love him and miss him when he's not with me. Some fun things about Spencer:
- He got his first haircut right after we got back from DC
- He will pretend to talk on the phone and all he says is "Yeah, yeah, yeah"
- Loves graham crackers, animal crackers, and teddy grahams
- Will not keep socks on AT ALL anymore
- Sleeps through the night from 830-830 and takes 2 good naps a day
- He recognizes the theme song from "The Office" (he will turn his head if he hears it, even if he's breastfeeding or playing)
- The first few things people say about him when they see him are: He's so cute, such pretty eyes, and look at those eyelashes!

Today is one of those days...one of those days where I am certain I do not want any more kids. In fact, I have been pretty sure for a while now that I never want more kids. And what is wrong with that? I do not have the patience nor can I handle it mentally. Plus, we'd never have to move or worry about running out of room, we could spoil Spencer, and we wouldn't have to come up with any more boy names!

Birthday!
For those of you wondering what to get Spencer, he has lots of toys, books, and stuffed animals already. It might be fun for a bunch of people to go in on a bike trailer so Spence can go on bike rides with us!
